You need to correct one spot where you’ve written 9 million and meant 9 billion. I don’t agree we can easily feed a growing population if just fix some problems with the system. To produce the amount of food we currently grow we are using the world’s finite supply of fossil fuels we are salinating fertile soil and reducing its fertility with intensive agriculture we’re creating vast ocean deadzones due to fertilizer runoff pumping aquifers and rivers dry slowly collapsing fisheries and the list goes on. I don’t believe we can sustainably feed even 7 billion over the long haul.
