The new edition generally gets it right delivering much higher resolution. On my test unit the screen suffered from an odd yellowish tinge when I used it to read e-books. I suspect it’s a one-off manufacturing defect and in any case it didn’t interfere with my reading. But image quality for games and streaming videos was quite good.
